20 Semi Awkward Questions with Riley Hart

Riley Hart was brave enough to answer 20 awkward questions! Take a look inside the author who gave us the incredibly sexy Noah and Cooper.

Goodreads  /  Amazon /  B&N  /   Kobo

Orgasm every five minutes or never again?
OMG. Hardest question ever! People may think I’m crazy but I have to go with never again. I don’t think I could handle every five minutes.

Have you ever met/seen a person who made you question your sexuality?
No.

Favorite book and author?
The Return by Brad Boney.

List the first ten kinks/fetishes you can think of.
Bondage, D/s, public sex, pain, role playing, spanking, humiliation, flogging, Slave/Master, voyeurism.

Star Wars or Star Trek?
Neither? LOL.

We’ve all had dates from hell tell us about yours.
I honestly haven’t had many because my husband and I got together young. There was one boy I didn’t want to go out with in high school but his mom did my hair. I didn’t want to be mean (or lose my hair stylist) so I lied and said I wasn’t allowed to date without someone else there so one of my friend came along.

If you could have one super power for a day what would it be?
To be able to go anywhere I wanted in the blink of an eye.

Sex in the morning, afternoon, or night?
Anytime!

Do you shave/trim/style?
Depends on my mood.

What is your favorite sex related website?
Cockyboys! (YES!!! Cockyboys is the best)

Give or receive?
Receive. LOL.

What do you think is the sexiest part of the body?
I have a thing for hands. I love sexy, manly hands.

What sex toy do you desperately want but don't have yet? Please give us a link!
I am so lame and I don’t have one. (WHAT!?! Give me your address I am mailing you one!)

What is your sexual super power?
The ability to turn my husband on without even trying. LOL

What’s your favorite guilty pleasure?
Chocolate

What’s your most embarrassing childhood memory?
I can’t think of one! I know there were little things that felt embarrassing at the time but when I look back they are no big deal.

Favorite movie quote?
“I’m scared of everything. I’m scared of what I saw. I’m scared of what I did, of who I am…and most of all, I’m scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my life the way I feel when I’m with you.” Dirty Dancing

Tell us something no one knows about you?
I’m obsessed with kissing. I love pictures of sexy kisses and writing sexy kisses. I think kisses are one of the sexiest things people can do.
~Well here you go…..

Teaser: Outcome by Cara Dee

Add Outcome to your TBR list.

Outcome is Chase and Remy's story ;)

Chase walked over to the end of the bar where a young man sat, wearing only boxer briefs. Hell, was the punk asleep? Forearms on the bartop, forehead planted on one of those arms. Messy hair, shorter on the sides, nearly black, with some streaks of red that looked washed out. Chase's sister dyed her hair in odd colors like that sometimes.
"This is a bar, kid. Not a hotel." Chase folded his arms across his chest and leaned back against the counter behind him. He eyed the ink on the man's arms, shoulders, and neck. It was a stark contrast against the pale and unblemished skin. The artwork was intricate and impressive, albeit depressing. Dark clouds, a Grim Reaper, lyrics that belonged to songs about death, something that looked like the beginning of a tree on his ribcage, but Chase couldn’t see farther down. Quotes about suffering, about staying true to who you are, a snake slithering toward a big, red apple, and an inked bullet wound.
The man spoke at last, quietly, and stayed in his position. "If I can just stay for ten minutes, that'd be great." He sounded drained and like he'd been drinking too much whiskey.
The voice didn’t fit what Chase saw, which was youth. Or perhaps the lithe body with sinewy muscles betrayed him and made the kid look younger than he was.
Admit it, man. You like what you see.
Chase silenced that little voice with an internal growl.
Attraction and romance had no business in his closet.
"You mind telling me why you're only in your underwear?" Chase was starting to feel impatient. "I get that it's summer, but there are limits."
The younger man let out a humorless chuckle. "I'm afraid clothes weren't my priority when I finally escaped that witch." Chase stiffened instinctually at the word escape. Bad fucking joke, if that's what it was. "She's supposed to be my best friend…" The man lifted his head a few inches, only to bury it in his hands. "She called it detox. I call it torture. Three goddamn days, dude, just because I happen to like booze. Three days in handcuffs—even when I went to the bathroom!"
Detox? Chase frowned, then heaved a sigh, 'cause none of this shit really mattered to him. Clearly, the man hadn't been kidnapped, and that was all Chase needed to know. Maybe he had this compulsion to fix problems, but he couldn’t shoulder it all.
The fact that this stranger was bitching about wearing handcuffs for three days only made Chase wanna laugh. He'd endured cuffs for five months, without a single reprieve. The evidence lingered around his wrists in uneven white lines, and it always would. He hid those vicious scars under two folded bandanas.
"I finally escaped when she let me take a shower in the master bathroom." A huff. "Gotta love windows." Rubbing his eyes, he finally let his hands fall away, and he gave Chase a once-over.
Chase's frown deepened, first registering a handsome face that looked aged from something that had happened, piercings in his bottom lip and eyebrow, then light green eyes that he deemed unforgettable, but… Wasn’t there something familiar?
"Oh, shit." The man's breath left him in a whoosh, those pale green eyes widening. Anguish and fear—fucking fear—took over and for a second made his jaw slack. Then he suddenly pushed off the barstool and stumbled a few steps backward. "I-I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I didn’t mean to—I didn’t know y-you worked here."
With every stuttered word from the man, with every step he took toward the door, and with each patron's attention he got, it slowly dawned on Chase. Brick by brick. The months of research he'd conducted after getting back to freedom three years ago. The paper clippings. The miniscule profile photo on a website for music streaming. The article about that website changing owners a year ago.
Fury unfurled inside Chase. His hands clenched into fists. His jaw ticked with tension, his spine went rigid, and his gaze turned murderous. His heart began racing, his chest tightening beyond what was painful. Just looking at this man, facing him for the first time, threw Chase back in time. Three years to be exact.
"I'm sorry, Chase." The man who wasn’t a stranger—not really—pushed the door open and fled.

Remy Stahl.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Okay...things about me, huh?

I'm not into formal and stuffy, but anyway...

I'm twenty-six years old, born and raised in Sweden. I started writing on a whim in 2011, and it started pretty tame, but it has definitely changed! My biggest thrill comes from writing about the "forbidden." I have very few limits, and you'll find out that there's no fade-to-black or anything like "too much information" in my world. Before, I could barely have a character say "fuck", and now one of my biggest turn-ons is Daddy kink. Age difference--the man being the oldest--is another one, as well as BDSM. Extensive research, music, general smut, and reading are always sure ways for me to get inspired. I'm proud to say I've gotten my husband hooked, too. ;) Although, he rather watches than reads! Hey, Rome wasn't built in a day.

20 Semi Awkward Questions With Cara Dee

Cara Dee was brave enough to answer my 20 awkward questions! Don't let her nice side fool you her books are HOT HOT HOT!!!

Goodreads          Amazon
Orgasm every five minutes or never again?
I'd have to say never again, which would…wow, it would really suck! But I can't imagine being distracted every five minutes for the rest of my life.

Have you ever met/seen a person who made you question your sexuality?
Nope, can't say that I have. I mean, there are countless women I find beautiful and sexy, but no attraction.

Favorite book and author?
That's Mission: Impossible! I can't narrow it down to only one, but I really like Damon Suede and Lara Adrian. Suede's Hot Head and Bad Idea are two of my all-time favorites, and I'm pretty obsessed with Adrian's Midnight Breed Series.

Pick a favorite fictional character, what sort of kink do you think they would have?
I have a soft spot for my own Cam—in Aftermath—but I can't really call him kinky. But there's always Sloan in Bianca Sommerland's The Dartmouth Cobras; he's my favorite sadist. Although, there would be no permanent marks involved for me! Dean from the same series is also hotter than hell.

Star Wars or Star Trek?
Oh, neither. The closest I'll ever get to a Trekkie would be watching The Big Bang Theory.

We’ve all had dates from hell tell us about yours.
We don't really date in Sweden, not like Americans do, so I'll leave that to you!

If you could have one super power for a day what would it be?
Being invisible! I'd join the Dark Side and steal scratch-off tickets.

Sex in the morning, afternoon, or night?
Whenever I'm not too busy writing, but I'd rather not in the morning.  Once I'm awake, I just wanna get to my laptop and check whatever I missed while I was wasting my life sleeping.

Screamer, moaner or silent?
Dirty talker?

What is your favorite sex related website?
Unless Tumblr counts, I'd say CockyBoys.

Give or receive?
Give, then receive.

What do you think is the sexiest part of the body?
For some reason, I'm drawn to check out a man's forearms. To me, there are few things sexier than a man with strong arms and a button-down with rolled-up sleeves.

What sex toy do you desperately want but don't have yet? Please give us a link!
I'd like to know what the fuss is about with dildos made of glass, so maybe that'll be the next item in my cart.

What’s your favorite sex act?
The rough kind!

What’s your favorite guilty pleasure?
I don’t feel guilty about it ;-)

What’s your most embarrassing childhood memory?
Hmm. Maybe I've suppressed those.

Favorite movie quote?
"There's no end to the possibilities." It's from Cable Guy, which, ironically, is a movie I don’t like at all. But it's a good quote!

Tell us something no one knows about you?
Once, I walked barefoot across Tower Bridge in London in the middle of the night. But that’s what you get for wearing boots that are fuzzy on the inside and no socks. Oh, and it was July.

What are you reading right now?
I recently finished Blame it on the Mistletoe by Eli Easton—super cute and sexy story, by the way—so I haven't started anything new yet. But I think it might be time to reread the Midnight Breed Series.

Anything you would like to add?

Mood: Stressed out in the best ways.
Listening to: Imagine Dragons.
Eating: I'd have Cheeto fingers if I didn’t eat them with a spoon.
Drinking: Coke Zero.

Review and Giveaway: Aftermath by Cara Dee

REVIEW

Finding out about about Aftermath I was scared to read it. HELLO!!! You did see the word "kidnapping." I love dark and twisted books but I always need breaks in between them to be able to survive them. But with Aftermath I did a buddy read so we could be there for each other.

WOW, it was not at all what I was expecting. I admit I was scared jumping into this book. I was preparing myself for the absolute brutal worst that could happen but what actually happened was amazing! Cara Dee did an incredible job of combining the present with flashbacks of the kidnapping to make you feel Austin and Cameron's connection.

I feel in love with Austin and Cameron! After battling 5 months of hell they become close, they depended on each, they needed each other. The kidnapping changes who they are and what they need to survive. Their attract burns though each page. There is no denying they want each other. And when they finally submit to their desires it is HOT HOT HOT.  I don't even know how to describe them together.

But it's not just their sexual hotness that sucks you in, it's their real need for each other. They fell in love with out even knowing it. It's beautiful. By the end of the book you are praying and cheering that they stay together forever and move in next door to you so y'all can be BFF's!

GRAB A COPY OF COLLIDE NOW!!!!

Add book 2, Aftermath to your TBR list.

4 stars

Finally more Peaches!! In case you didn't know me and Peaches are BFFs! Well in my own little world we are BFFs. As much as I wanted to read this book I did not want it to end!

Peaches and Dalton are back "together" for media related purposes. Which is a huge mess because honestly who can say no to Dalton! He plays a sexy vampire on TV for God's sake! So Peaches royally screwed up and the only way to save face it to help Dalton out with this fake marriage which I'm totally rooting for because these two love birds belong together. Seriously Peaches, get your head out of your peaches and look that this gorgeous specimen in front of you that loves you like crazy!  This is why Peaches needs me in her life I would have slapped her and made her go to Dalton. But in the end everything that happened was totally Peaches and that is why I love this series. This girl makes me laugh like no other! Everything she does is so her and perfect. The Peaches Monroe series is one of my favorite laugh your ass off, make you feel good and wish the main character was your BFF kinda book. Everyone needs to know who Peaches is.

Excerpt
The music changed to an Abba song, and a few people skating the circuit cheered. Adrian considered this busy for the rink? We weren’t alone, but the place wasn’t exactly crowded, either. A dozen little kids were racing around as fast as their parents would let them, and another forty people were skating around at a more leisurely pace. A good portion were white-haired seniors, with big smiles on their faces.
Adrian and I started skating, both of us a little rough at first, but getting into the flow. Soon we were skating along smoothly, holding hands like most of the other couples, and Adrian got cocky enough to drop my hand and skate ahead to do a spin for me. He actually pulled it off, causing me to say, “Not bad, Mr. Storm.”
He came back to my side, put his arm across my shoulder, and used his free hand to tilt my chin toward him. He kissed me as we skated past the speakers. I kept my eyes open for balance, but he closed his, getting that dopey, sweet look guys get when they can’t believe they’re kissing someone.
The lights dimmed, the music changed to a romantic folk rock song, and the small kids filed off the rink. Adrian kept kissing me, and our skating speed slowed and slowed.
I noticed a very grown-up feeling I was having between my legs. Miss Kitty was purring.
We came to a standstill near the gate we’d come in through. My purse was checked into a storage cubby back at the skate rental counter, but our shoes and leftover pasta boxes were sitting up in the bleachers.
I pulled away from Adrian’s succulent lips and glanced up toward our pile of stuff, halfway up the bleachers and barely visible. “We could take a break and finish our dinner,” I said.
He reached up and touched my ear. I’d forgotten I was wearing earrings. My earlobe pinched as he fiddled around with the earring, probably looking for the backing and not realizing they were clip-ons. The first one fell off into his hand, and he’d barely touched the other one when it did the same.
“What are you doing?” I asked.
“We’re recreating lost teen experiences, aren’t we? Let’s go up into the dark bleachers for some good, old-fashioned necking.”
“Necking! You sound so old-timey.”
He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and ran his fingers down my neck, then along my throat to my collarbone.
He murmured, “Your heart’s beating fast.”
“From all the rollerskating,” I lied.
“Nobody’s looking. Quick, let’s get on up there.”
I pushed open the hip-height wooden door, freshly painted but dented from decades of hockey games. In the winter, rollerskating switched to iceskating and hockey games, and the arena would be packed every Saturday night with hockey fans and parents.
We climbed up, stepping sideways so we didn’t murder ourselves on our roller skates. We grabbed our things and proceeded up higher and higher, until we were in darkness. I could barely see Adrian’s face, but I found his lips easily.
We kissed, sitting next to each other on the flat wooden bleacher step. I took his lower lip in my mouth and felt carefully with my tongue for the tiny scar from his lip ring.
He pressed his tongue hungrily into my mouth as one hand came across and landed on my bare knee.
He moved his lips away from mine, and over to my ear. He took my earlobe in my mouth and gently sucked it, the way he had my thumb. My skin prickled all over, and I felt myself begin to glow with sweat.
Moving down my neck, he licked and sucked and gently bit my skin until I was moaning. I could hear the crackle of his saliva as he sucked my neck, let go, and held it again with gentle pressure.
At the same time, his hand moved slowly up my leg—trepidatiously, like the hand of a young guy trying to get to third base for the first time.
I whispered, “Adrian, are you trying to get to third base?”
He pulled his hot mouth away from my neck, the saliva evaporating and cooling my neck suddenly. To accentuate this, he blew air gently on my neck. I shuddered with pleasure at the sensation.
In the shadows, I saw him lick his lips, then say, “It would be a crime for me to skip second base.” His gaze was directly on my peaches, looking luscious and heaving from my rapid breathing.
“May I?” he asked, holding out both hands, inches from my sweater puppies.

Synopsis
She's mine. That was the first thought that came to my mind when I held my baby in my arms at seventeen. I didn't care that my parents had already promised to give her to a wealthy family. That they were forcing me to give her away. She was mine. I ran away from that hospital, from that family, from the only life I knew. I planned to start over with what little money I had, determined to make something of myself despite the odds. Then Logan Tate came along. Gorgeous and controlling, he claimed he was trying to help me, and he didn't care that I was just another teenage pregnancy story. But I don’t trust him. I don't trust anyone. And if Logan knew the real secrets and lies I was keeping inside, he wouldn't dare try to shelter me.

Review
4 Stars

The first few sentences had me sucked in to Shelter You. Mia is a new young mother and is on the run with her newborn baby. Yes, that's right ON THE RUN. At only 17 she can still be considered a run away if her parents want her back bad enough and they do!
Mia is strong, she has to be for her baby.  She's smart enough to know to keep quiet until she is legally an adult but knows she has to do something to be able to provide for her baby. This had me a mess! OMG what if she got hurt, what if they baby got hurt…what if she fell in love! I wanted to take Mia into my arms and protect her and her baby. That is until Logan came along (then I wanted to push Mia out of the way and  jump into Logan's arms).
Logan is everything and he is strong. Exactly what Mia doesn't know she needs. She tries she tries so hard to keep him away and girl just can't come forward until she lets the past go.
Ok so now the crazy ass plot twist. I know what your thinking… "But Sili most books have crazy plot twist" Well not shit sherlock! But here is the genius part…. You won't figure it out! OMG!! I about fell out of my bed when I read what I was reading! WTF why didn't I see that! Do you know how many books I have been able to figure out the plot twist in them before the plot twist happens? Mostly all of them. Do you know how many I haven't been able to figure out? I can count them all in one hand…..and now I can add Shelter You to that list.

Release Day ~ Behind His Eye Consequences by Aleatha Romig

BEHIND HIS EYES—CONSEQUENCES is a reading companion, by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Aleatha Romig, recommended to be read after completing all three books of the CONSEQUENCES SERIES: Consequences, Truth, and Convicted. It is not a standalone book and should not be read as such.
This companion was written to explore the thoughts and motivations of Anthony Rawlings, the man behind the consequences. It was not intended as a total rewrite of Consequences, but meant to enhance the reader’s understanding. BEHIND HIS EYES—CONSEQUENCES contains significant scenes from the novel Consequences, as experienced from Anthony’s point of view. It also contains never before published, behind the scenes information, as well as, a glossary of the characters, and a timeline devoted to the events within Consequences.
BEHIND HIS EYES—CONSEQUENCES is a dark journey into the mind of the man who believes that he controls everything and controls nothing. Because there is more to learn about a man who:
Once upon a time, signed a napkin that he knew was a contract. As an esteemed businessman, he forgot one very important rule—he forgot to read the fine print. It wasn’t an acquisition to own another person as he’d previously assumed. It was an agreement to acquire a soul.
—Aleatha Romig, CONVICTED

It was a long and painful acquisition—especially from Behind His Eyes!

The beginning of the end...coffee? - January 2012
(Consequences—Chapter 46)

When Tony crawled back into his bed, he slid behind Claire’s sleeping body and wrapped her in his arms. She fit perfectly as he was drawn to her radiating warmth. Gently kissing her hair, he tasted her perfume as his hands wandered her curves, caressing her soft skin. Her soft murmurs filled his heart with hope as she settled into his embrace. Smiling, Tony imagined that in a few days he’d have his wife on a sunny beach with nothing more than a bikini—maybe not even that. Those images and more filled his mind as he drifted off to sleep.
When he woke, Tony lingered longer than usual in the warmth of their bed. Being much too early for Claire to wake, he lifted his head, rested it on his elbow, and watched her sleep. Her lightened hair covered her pillow as renegade strands crisscrossed her exposed cheek. Along with her exposed face, one bare shoulder was visible above the mound of luxurious blankets. Tony leaned closer, kissed her forehead, and watched in amusement as her nose wrinkled. Lightly, he kissed her again. This time he was rewarded with the most beautiful moan as she stretched and turned toward him. Although Claire was still sound asleep, she subconsciously responded to his touch. He wanted to wake her, but he feared that if her warm soft skin touched his and they connected their bodies, as they’d been connected the night before, he wouldn’t be able to carry out his plan.
Brushing the strands of blonde from her face, he whispered, “You don’t need to wake, yet.” When she didn’t respond and he was confident of her sleeping, he added, “You have a big day, my dear. You need your rest. Tonight we’ll celebrate.”
Throughout Tony’s morning routine, he avoided thoughts of Claire’s impending examination. To him it was merely a formality—the final signature on their life long contract. The deal was already complete; she belonged to him—she wouldn’t disappoint.
She knew better; because, if she did, he’d promised consequences. And Anthony Rawlings was a man of his word.
