We first meet Shayla and John in No Time Wasted. You HAVE to read that one first and it's just as wonderful as Shayla's Story.
I have no clue what it is about these Matthews/Clemmins men but I LOVE them all. Sexy as sin and romantic. Total swoon worthy material.
I don't know how to explain this book, it's just perfect. The perfect love story. Beverly somehow managed to do it again. Reading Shayla's Story is like watching your favorite romance movie. At the end you are left happy and giddy wanting more.
You fall for every character in the book as you get to know them. You become attached to them, like family. It's a beautiful thing that Beverly has done, giving you such a true image of them that you feel like you belong with them.
Shayla's Story has become one of my favorite books. Her characters are real, no far fetched stories here. It's good to escape the world of crazy story lines and catch up on something that you can relate to. Something that makes you feel connected.

Oh boy! I was about eighteen and I went on a date with a very
good-looking man in his mid-twenties. When I asked where we were going, he
replied, “To a party.” We arrived at a warehouse-type building with a packed
parking lot. I was like, Right on, Party
Time! The two doves on the side of the building should’ve been a sign, but
I was clueless. We walked in and people were swaying back and forth with their
hands in the air crying out Amen! I was scared to death and needless to say, I
wasn’t Saved that evening! I never
went on another date before asking exactly what the night entailed!

I’m a fan of the multiple whenever possible.
What is the first thing you notice about the opposite sex?
Arms! I love sexy, muscular arms. Not the kind you get from

I’m in the middle of doing research for The Perfect Someday, book three in The Mathews/Clemmins Family
series. It takes place at a winery in Italy.

Tell us something no one knows about you?
Most people don’t know that I never dreamed of being a
writer and I used to read more travel magazines than romance novels. I wrote my
first book after having a dream. That dream turned into No More Wasted Time and then The Mathews/Clemmins Family series. Shayla’s Story is book two in the
series.
What are you reading right now?
I just finished Beautiful
Bastard by Christina Lauren. Loved it!
