I was incredibly nervous to read this book..HELLO we all remember what all happened in Promise Me Darkness and how it ended! I was totally happy living in my made up story for Ryder and Maddie but we know that I'm a sucker for angst and HAD to read Promise Me Light. OMG!!! Paige starts Promise Me Light with a HUGE WTF moment!! Oh how I loved it! So good!
The entire book had me on edge. I was so into the story that I was scared. Honestly I was scared of the dark. With the craziness around them I felt like I was in the book and always on high alert for what can happen next. Being transformed into Maddie's world was amazing (scary but amazing).
Ok, I admit at times I did want to scream at Ryder & Maddie for being so damn stubborn but that's what makes them so amazing! They need each other even more to survive this new world, they won't give up on each other. Ryder and Maddie's chemistry is intense. I can feel their heat off the words I read. It's like nothing else. Together they are hot! I can't get them out of my head.
Ryder! All I can think of when I think of him is sex. That's it. I think of Ryder and I think of sex. Ryder is sex. That man can take me any way he wants any day! I FREAKING LOVE it when book boyfriends have that dominate edge to them. But what I really loved about Ryder is how much he loved Maddie. His love for her is always present even in the sexiest scenes. He's dominate in their love but tender and I want that! I want Ryder. Can we have him in real life?
I loved everything about this book. I loved it so much I want MORE! And I will beg for it too!!

I can not say enough just how amazingly perfect this book was. I was on the edge of my seat scared one moment then a hot mess when Gavin or Ryder would make an appearance, and then pissed because that is what those Delaney men do... drive me absolute crazy and I love it!
