I've been so nervous for a book. I adore Caleb and Olivia. I wanted them to have their fucked up happily ever but with Tarryn Fisher anything is possible. I didn't trust her enough to give me what I wanted but in true Tarryn form she delivered what we all needed.
In The Opportunist I couldn't stand Caleb he went from being a strong young man to being a pussy wiped sissy boy. He didn't fight for what he wanted, he let Leah take his balls and drag him around. In Dirty Red we saw more of a fighter. Caleb was waking up and finally seeing things. I admit I was scared his sissy ways would return but in Thief I was cheering for his fine ass from the start. He finally manned up and was ready to fight for Olivia.
Oliva and Caleb's passion is still burns. It never went away. They both fought it hard for years afraid of what giving themselves to each other might feel when in reality they had already sealed their fate that eventful day under a tree. Caleb is now mature enough to know how to love Olivia, he knows her weakness, her passions, and her fears. He in return becomes The Opportunist fighting hard and using his knowledge to win back his Duchess.
Now like I said before Tarryn Fisher does not give you want you want in a story, she gives you want you NEED! Life isn't about skipping away holding hands under a rainbow.
Life is a bitch. It's real. It's raw and it hurts! The Opportunist, Dirty Red and Thief make you feel your own emotions because we have all been there. We have all had our heart broken, our lives torn apart by love but we have all also experienced that moment, that wonderful moment in life when all the broken pieces come back to together and sure there are some that pieces that will never fit back in place but that is the beauty in love. The imperfection of it all is what makes love so magical.
Thank you Tarryn Fisher for giving us Thief.
Ask Tarryn any questions you have! There will be some trivia questions for
giveaways so come prepared with your copy of Thief! We look forward to chatting with you!
