Remember when you were in high school and fucking hated it!!! NO? Well I did, I hated hated hated high school. Horrible! But at the same time damn I loved it, I was so damn young with no cares. All that mattered was where I sat during lunch, hoping I studying enough for algebra, and who I hung out with on the weekends. But those good times I did have in high school are what Remember When reminded me of. The times you thought you were so slick with getting away with things in class without the teacher noticing. Oh, the many parties you went to and tried to hide from the parental units. Gossip in between class with friends. And then there is your first love. Those butterflies, that awesome head rush of y'alls first kiss, the way you felt when he held your hand. So innocent, so young, so in love. That is what Remember When is about, your first love. You never forget your first love, you can't. And even though I hate my twat-waffle of a first love I am grateful for the memories. Layla and Trip, yall made me smile, cry, laugh, and hurt all over again. You brought out the 15 year old in me and for one night I relived all those wonderfully carefree memories before life got complicated. T.Torrest THANK YOU for a walk down memory lane.
